Find Your Precinct (The Philippine 2010 Elections)
There's this really cool site to help you find your precinct for this coming election.
Access the website here: Find your Precinct
Just key in your City/Municipality and Precinct Number (found in your Voter's ID) into their appropriate fields. After clicking the 'Find Your Voting Center' button, you'll be shown a map where your precinct is located. However, it may not be able to pinpoint the exact street address of your precinct's location. You can help improve the site though by clicking on the 'Add the location yourself' link. A new window will open where you can edit the map. Just do a quick study of the controls and once you get a hold of it, adding a location into the map will be as simple as tagging a photo in facebook.
And another cool feature it has is the number (maybe the estimated number) of voters in your location popups in the suggestions when you start typing in the 'City/Municipality' field. You can use it to know how many voters there are maybe in neighboring towns or any other city/municipality you may be interested on anywhere in the Philippines. Cool!
I haven't explored it much yet though and I think it still has other amazing features. Just check it out and see for yourself ;)

Windows 7
My office workplace has just been upgraded. My new machine in now running on Windows 7. Though at first I was again pretty confused with the interface at first, I was simply captivated by the beautiful wallpapers which appears perfectly on the new LCD screen :)
Eventually, I was able to work my way through the new controls. I changed the layout to resemble Vista 'coz I still can't get over the previous windows desktop screen.
Anyway, it's time to go home. I'll continue this post later. hehe

My Online Documentation
Well, what can I say here. I'm not really into blogging. Just wanna give it a try this time. I think this will just be a nice place to write down my thoughts so I can easily recall them later :)
I'm a software developer, programmer, web developer. Hmm... what other titles would be relevant. I wonder :p Basically, I'm into programming and create applications that accomplishes a particular task. Some of the projects I've handled before include some social networking site, ordering system, school registration system and other past projects on compression, compiler design. I don't want to constrain myself to just one programming language. In fact, I would love to study and use them in projects though I couldn't find time to study other languages as of the moment. I studied java before but I didn't have the chance to use it in some projects so my skills in the language has still to be improved upon. hehe. Currently, the language I've had a chance to master is php. Well actually, I didn't quite realize I've been using it for about 3-4 years already. Whew, time flies so quickly. I'm currently working as a web developer that's why I'm have to be adept in web development languages like javascript, css, html including some database language lilke mysql.
That's about it for now. It's fun to write. I hope I can write more soon. Have a nice day!
